What is VTX

A VTX is a video transmitter. This device takes the image from your camera and sends it as a radio wave to your goggles or monitor. The VTX FPV operates on certain frequencies, usually in the 5.8GHz range, so you can fly with other people without interference.

How the VTX Works

The camera captures light and turns it into an electrical signal. This signal travels to the VTX, which then encodes the data into a radio frequency.
