The propulsion system affects the aircraft's controllability, its payload, and overall flight endurance. At FPV.Monster, you'll find a wide selection of drone motors that help convert electrical energy into precise mechanical thrust. Our selection includes specialized equipment from trusted manufacturers, including BrotherHobby (Avenger and Tornado), Axisflying, and Hobbywing.
What motors for your fleet are available?
Modern FPV drones are based on brushless motor drone designs, which offer greater durability and efficiency than traditional brushed motors. Eliminating high-friction brushes enables these components to achieve the high RPM and torque needed for aggressive maneuvers. Our collection includes a wide range of stator sizes and KV values to accommodate different battery voltages and propeller pitches.
- Micro and compact models. Compact options like the RS0802 and EX1103 deliver high KV values (up to 28,000 KV) for maneuverable operation on 1S-2S batteries.
- Freestyle and racing. Standard 2207 and 2306.5 sizes, including the Avenger V3 and LPD series, provide optimal thrust and control for 5-inch frames.
- Long-range flight. Larger stators, such as the Avenger 2806.5 or RTF-3110SL, are optimized for lower KV (900-1300) to efficiently turn large propellers over long distances.
- Industrial and heavy-duty lifting solutions. The professional UAV motor models, such as the CM-X9 and X8 series, are designed for enterprise platforms that require maximum payload stability and compatibility with 8S-12S batteries.
Before purchasing a drone electric motor, you should determine the KV value. It indicates the constant rotation speed, or the number of revolutions per minute, a motor drone produces per volt of power. A high KV value is suitable for small propellers and fewer batteries. A lower KV value combined with a high voltage (6S-8S) is suitable for heavy-duty applications.
Motor Technical Features
Experienced builders will appreciate the advanced engineering behind our drone motors. These include high-temperature EZO bearings, titanium alloy shafts, and N52H arc magnets, as seen on the Tornado 3115 or Special Edition V4 models. These components maintain constant torque even during high thermal loads, preventing desynchronization in the air or reduced efficiency.
Choosing the right drone motor involves matching the stator height and width to the intended use of your frame. A wider stator provides more torque and better heat dissipation. At the same time, a taller stator provides a higher top speed. We offer a wide range of models, including the TC 1404 for upgrading cinewhoops or the RTF-2812SL for building a long-range drone.
